Tara Mason, Principal - Rebecca Reynolds, Assistant Principal Grades K &1 - Andrea Kingree, Assistant Principal Grade 2 & 3 - Diane McLean, Assistant Principal Grades 4 & 5

Mrs. Tara Mason - Principal

Mrs. Mason is the Principal at W. W. Robinson Elementary. She began her career at Central High School in 2001, where she taught English for 16 years. She spent five years in Winchester Public Schools serving as an Instructional Specialist and Assistant Principal. During the 2022-2023 school year, she returned to Shenandoah County Public Schools serving as the Assistant Principal and Acting Principal at Sandy Hook Elementary.

Mrs. Mason earned her bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Virginia and her Master’s degree in Education with a specialization in Curriculum and Instruction from Eastern Mennonite University. She earned her certification in School Administration from James Madison University.

Mrs. Mason currently lives in Woodstock with her teacher husband and their two daughters. She loves reading, learning, and spending time with friends and family.

Mrs. Becky Reynolds - Grades K & 1

Mrs. Reynolds is the Assistant Principal for Kindergarten and 1st grade at W. W. Robinson. While this is her first year as AP, Mrs. Reynolds has worked at W. W. Robinson since the Fall of 2001. She taught Kindergarten for one year, second grade for 10 years, and was a Reading Specialist for 11 years. She is very excited to help lead in the very same school that she attended as a little girl.

Mrs. Reynolds is a 1997 graduate of Central High School and graduated with her Bachelor’s Degree in Education from Bridgewater College in 2001. She later went on to earn her Master’s Degree in K-12 Reading Education from James Madison University in 2012. She is currently finishing her K-12 Administration and Supervision Certification from James Madison University.

Mrs. Reynolds currently lives in Edinburg with her husband, their four children, and their dog, Maggie. She enjoys watching her children play sports, learning, and being involved with the Woodstock Fire Department, where her husband and son are members.

Mrs. Andrea Kingree - Grades 2 & 3

Mrs. Kingree is the Assistant Principal for 2nd and 3rd grade, and she is in her first year as an AP at WWR.

Previously, Mrs. Kingree has served as a special education teacher at W. W. Robinson Elementary School for eight years. Prior to that, she was a Therapeutic Day Treatment Counselor at WWR for four years and previously held the same role with Rockingham County Public Schools.

Mrs. Kingree is a graduate of Harrisonburg High School and continued her education at Mary Baldwin College, where she graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology. She then continued her education at James Madison University, where she received a Master's Degree in Education and her K-12 Administration and Supervision Certification.

Mrs. Kingree currently lives in Woodstock with her husband and their two children. She enjoys watching her children play sports, reading, and spending time with family and friends in her free time.

Mr. Chandler Hatfield - Grades 4 & 5

Mr. Hatfield is the Assistant Principal of 4th and 5th grade, and 2026-2027 will be his first year at W. W. Robinson.

Mr. Hatfield is from Fishersville, Virginia, where he went to Wilson Memorial High School. He graduated from James Madison University with a master's degree in Secondary Education, a bachelor's degree in History, and minors in the Classics and Interdisciplinary Studies. Mr. Hatfield completed his graduate certificate program in Educational Leadership through JMU in 2026. He completed his internship hours at W. W. Robinson in the 2025-2026 school year and was elated when the assistant principal opportunity for 4th and 5th grade became available.

Mr. Hatfield lives in Harrisonburg with his wife. They enjoy James Madison football games throughout the fall. He also enjoys officiating high school and college men’s basketball, as well as umpiring softball in his evenings. Mr. Hatfield loves reading, especially on Topsail Island, where he vacations with his family. He thoroughly enjoys watching sports and loves specifically the Dukes, the Yankees, and the Indianapolis Colts.
